Chester Bennington – the voice

Hi! It’s been a tragic news the death of Chester Bennington. I was really sad about thinking of the guy who made me fall in love with English music. He was a star. He was the most amazing singer. I loved the way how his voice truly flow into your soul. It was amazing. The excitement I use to have whenever a new song of Linkin park came out. Lost in the echo, Breaking the habit, New divide, iridescent, castle of glass were my favourite songs. The music the band have is like that makes you fly high and you just want to tell the world what you are. It touches your soul. Last night I wasn’t able to sleep. So I picked up my head phones and played some songs of Linkin park. When the song “IRIDESCENT” started playing I just closed my eyes and imagined myself as Chester Bennington. I can’t say I had the whole feeling but a little bit if feeling of the pain he might be having in him. I felt what would be the feeling of being Chester Bennington. I couldn’t get the song out of me. Here are the lyrics ;

When you were standing in the wake of devastation

When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown

And with the cataclysm raining down

Insides crying, “Save me now!”

You were there, impossibly alone

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?

You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known

Remember all the sadness and frustration

And let it go. Let it go

And in a burst of light that blinded every angel

As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars

You felt the gravity of tempered grace

Falling into empty space

No one there to catch you in their arms

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?

You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known

Remember all the sadness and frustration

And let it go. Let it go

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?

You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known

Remember all the sadness and frustration

And let it go. Let it go

Let it go

Let it go

Let it go

Let it go

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?

You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known

Remember all the sadness and frustration

And let it go. Let it go

This song truly can keep you going and going. Just let it go.

We miss you Chester Bennington 😢
